Sunday 5 July, 14:00 – 16:00 Meadow Walk and Talk with Donna Cox chair of Moor Meadows
West Week Farm is a 70 acre organic holding, managed for nature under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme by Mike & Jo Moser. It includes a 10 acre flower-rich meadow and traditional orchard with no inputs for over 25 years which were recently designated as a County Wildlife Site. The meadow was spread with green hay in 2020, and contains an abundance of rattle, betony, knapweed, scabious, grasshoppers, butterflies and more. The visit will also include a walk around the lovely woods (also a County Wildlife Site), a restoring herbal ley and an agroforestry plot.

Sunday 26th July, 19.00 for 19.30 An evening with Tom Bowser, Chulmleigh Town Hall
Tom Bowser is a prominent Scottish nature writer, journalist, rewilding advocate, and public speaker based in Perthshire, Scotland. He runs the award-winning Argaty Red Kites project from his family farm near Dunblane. He made environmental history as the first private landowner in Britain to legally release and rehome translocated wild beavers on his property.

Saturday 3rd October Skillshare with Bulworthy Project small scale DIY Solar installations, The Sentry, Chulmleigh (Details TBC) Build some resilience for your future with our new joint workshops and skillshare events. Learn how to install offgrid small solar and battery storage systems to allow you to charge power tools, phones, torches etc in your shed or outbuilding.
Events
We run a variety of events which are open to everyone including: our popular repair café; visits to local wildlife, conservation and rewilding sites; visiting speakers; wildlife walks; bird nest box building and checking; tree planting; coffee mornings and many more.
At any one time we are also involved in one or more community projects such as rewilding the churchyard and tree planting.

'Jo In The Water' Film Screening. 6.30pm for 7.00pm start. Chumleigh Town Hall
Jo in the Water follows a passionate sea swimmer turned reluctant activist, Exmouth-based Jo Bateman, as she takes on one of the UK’s biggest water companies in a David-and-Goliath battle to protect our waters from devastating sewage pollution.
As Jo’s courage helps ignite a growing movement, this film exposes the dire state of our water system and asks: who will stand up for our right to swim in clean natural waters, for the species and communities that rely upon them?
Jo in the Water is a feature-length documentary made by award-winning filmmakers with a strong track record of bringing powerful stories to our cinema screens. It is not just about water pollution; it is about connection—to nature, to our own sense of place, and to our responsibility for the world around us.
There is a panel discussion after the screening.

Peoples Emergency Briefing Film Screening. 6.30pm for 7.00pm start. Chumleigh Town Hall
This is a new, compelling 45-minute documentary captures the evidence presented at Westminster last November, where the UK's leading climate and nature scientists briefed over 1,200 politicians, business leaders, and public figures on the state of our climate and natural world, and what it means for our food, health, economy, and national security.
The film is making this evidence accessible to everyone. It's designed to be watched together: neighbours, local leaders, and MPs in the same room, looking at the same evidence, and thinking about what comes next.
There is a panel discussion after the screening.
